The RECIPIENT which wants to use the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE for the purpose other than education or not-for-profit research is requested to enter into a Material Transfer Agreement with Osaka University. In publishing the research results obtained by use of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE, a citation of the following literature(s) designated by the Department of Experimental Genome Research. The RECIPIENT which wants to use the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE even after five years must obtain a written consent from the DEPOSITOR again. This strain was generated in C57BL/6 mice by Masaru Okabe, Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Osaka University (RBRC00267 C57BL/6-Tg(CAG-EGFP)C14-Y01-FM131Osb). The mice were then backcrossed to BALB/cANMs (RBRC01624 C.B6-Tg(CAG-EGFP)C14-Y01-FM131Osb/Rbrc), C3H/HeNCrlCrlj (RBRC01624 C3.B6-Tg(CAG-EGFP)C14-Y01-FM131Osb/Rbrc), MSM/MsRbrc (RBRC01626 MSM;B6-Tg(CAG-EGFP)C14-Y01-FM131Osb/Rbrc) and DBA/2CrSlc (RBRC02889 D2.B6-Tg(CAG-EGFP)C14-Y01-FM131Osb/Ny), respectively. Both homozygous and hemizygous transgenic mice express GFP in all over the body. This strain is useful for detection of cell fate in transplantation and developmental studies.
